I've been working with Rob Sales on some character concepts for a new Story entitled 'Belmax & Toy-teddy'. It's a high fantasy story with anthropomorphic animals. There's is a strange force lurking in the backgrounds and everyone is unaware of the situation. The malevolence is slowly spreading and their first target is the small kingdom of King Andre and his daughter Tilki. But what they haven't counted on is Tilki's best friend Toy-teddy.

We now have a new artist attached to Souled. Zach Bassett. He's worked with Martin at Cosmic times before on "Decisions". I'm looking forward to working with him. He's a talented artist and I think he can bring a lot to the series.

Things went great on FCBD down at West Palm this weekend. We gave away all the copies we had and I got to meet some great people! Thanks to everyone who came out and please keep looking back either here or at Cosmic Times for news on the upcoming Issue 1 of Souled.

Souled at FCBD

Free comic book day is coming up on May 1st and the guys at Cosmic Times have a sketch book coming out for Souled. It features the concept art work of Aric Huffles and an interview with myself. We'll all be down at Past, Present, and Future comics and games down in West Palm beach. If you're in town drop by and see us...not to mention FREE COMICS!!!

Webcomic coming

Just a line to say that a webcomic is in the works. Currently I'm working with a local artist named Lee. Though we're still in the concept stage at this point the premise of the story is that a young man has his memory wiped and is deposited on the shore of a place called the Land of Dreams. This place is where Oni (demons) live and thrive. Now he must discover what he's done and how to save himself from a fate worse than death.

If all goes as planned it will be a monthly release of about three pages long.

Here it is folks. We have some concept work rolling in for the mini-series. Some interior shots, a couple of gadgets and some really good thumbnails of a ship named Another Man's Trash. All the art work so far is being worked on by a talented artist named Aric. He's done some work for the IDW cover contest (winning himself a Judge's Choice award). I'll see if I can get some of the images up soon as well as a link to some of his other art work.

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted. I've been wrapping up the scripts and getting things going. There's some concept work on the mini-series going on and The Gathering should be out soon. I suppose that I'm not going to be in MegaCON in March but at least I'll be going there. Anyone in the local area should drop by too. My friends from Cosmic Times are going to be there so check 'em out.

Once I have some groundbreaking news I'll be back.
